What Is It?

The internal skills that separate good athletes from great ones.

The Mental Edge Series is a 4-week virtual mental performance program for high school female athletes — capped at 5 participants per cohort for an intentional, high-impact experience.

Built on Applied Behavior Analysis and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy — this isn't a motivation workshop. It's a behavioral training program. Each week builds on the last, developing the skills athletes need to perform when it matters most.

Most athletes train their body every day. The Mental Edge Series trains what drives it.

By The End of This Program
Emotional RegulationAthletes will apply at least two regulation strategies in high-pressure game situations.
CommunicationAthletes will use behavior-specific language when giving and receiving feedback from coaches and teammates.
CoachabilityAthletes will identify their personal behavioral patterns and what triggers resistance to feedback.
AccountabilityAthletes will build a 30-day personal performance action plan they can sustain beyond the program.

Week 01
Emotional Regulation Under Pressure

Athletes identify their personal behavioral patterns and the triggers that cause emotional breakdowns in high-pressure moments. We build reset routines and cue phrases that work in real game situations.

Communication & Leadership

Athletes develop the behavioral skills to communicate with clarity and confidence — with coaches, teammates, and in high-stakes moments. Leadership isn't a title. It's practiced behavior.

Feedback & Coachability

Athletes explore what makes them resistant to feedback — and build the behavioral flexibility to receive, process, and apply coaching without shutting down. Coachability is a skill, not a personality trait.

Who is this program for?+
The Mental Edge Series is designed for high school female athletes in grades 9–12 who want to develop the mental performance skills that translate directly to sport and life. No prior experience with mental performance training is needed.
How does the program work?+
The program runs virtually over 4 weeks with one live session per week. Each session builds on the last. Athletes should expect to complete short activities between sessions to reinforce what's being practiced.
Why is it capped at 5 athletes?+
The cap exists intentionally. This isn't a webinar — it's a high-touch behavioral performance program. Keeping cohorts small ensures every athlete gets individualized attention, real accountability, and a genuine experience. Five is the number that allows that.
What is the investment?+
The full program is $300 per athlete. Payment options including pay in full and a deposit option are available at checkout. Sponsorship is also available for athletes who need financial support.
What is the refund policy?+
All sales are final once the cohort has commenced or access to program materials has been granted. If extenuating circumstances prevent participation before the program begins, credit toward a future cohort may be considered at our discretion.
How does sponsoring an athlete work?+
Your $300 sponsorship covers one athlete's full participation in the program. You may nominate a specific athlete or leave selection to N'Kayah. Sponsored athletes are chosen based on need and readiness. Sponsorship payments are non-refundable.
